Ukraine’s digital success record: Diia app has received 15 awards in two years

In 2020, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine presented Diia app — a brand of Ukraine’s digital state which became the game-changer of the state’s digital ambition. As for now, Diia has more than 19 mln users who can access 14 digital documents and interact with 26 public services online. Diia has also expanded into an ecosystem of 5 digital projects: Diia app, Diia web portal, Diia.City, Diia.Business and Diia.Education.

Due to Diia, the very idea of digital transformation has become the pop culture in Ukraine. During Ukraine’s way towards building a digital state and becoming the world’s leading country in terms of providing services for citizens and businesses, the ecosystem has already gained 15 awards.

Diia app:

• The D&AD Award (for best creative work) in two nominations – May 2022,
• CYBERSEC Award in 2 categories – May 2022,
• Bronze award at the Cannes Lions Awards 2022 ( international festival in the Creative Business Transformation category) – June 2022,
• The design of Diia's app won Red Dot Design Awards in two categories — Apps and Interface & User experience design categories – August 2021,
• Diia received an award from Eurobest in the Creative Business Transformation category – December 2022.

Diia ecosystem:

• Diia.City got Emerging Europe Awards in Modern and Future-Proof Policymaking – June 2022,
• Diia.Business won European Enterprise Promotion Awards 2022 (ЕЕРА) “Support for business internationalization” for the implementation of a national project Diia.Business – 2022,
• Go Global Awards 2022 was won by Diia.Business in the category “Digital Innovation of the Year”,
• Diia Signature-EU got an award by Estonian e-Governance Academy – 2023.

Today, the Diia ecosystem offers the first-ever digital passport in the world along with 14 other digital documents. The purpose of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is to provide access to 100% public services via the Diia app.
